Setting Intentions

Setting An Intention:

shareasimage (6)Setting intentions are a wonderful and effective way to help find your focus, keep you motivated, driven and help find YOU. Its great way to connect with yourself, live life with passion and purpose. It is also a great way to get your family involved and teach them the importance of setting intentions. It can help them learn the importance of setting goals and staying focused on what they intend to do.

Start with a weekly intention:

Don’t feel overwhelmed by this whole process. Start off slow by setting a weekly intention and once you are comfortable you can move to daily (only if you want). Start with something simple like: I will get up and move/exercise a little more than I usually do this week, I will be more positive this week, I will not have sugar in my coffee, or I will stay focused. Set your intention for the week, post it somewhere so you are reminded of it. Keep repeating it to your self and stay focused on it, celebrate it every day!

It can be life changing.

Write it Down:

I find writing down my intentions and posting it somewhere that I see it frequently helps me remember and stay focused and committed. We have created a tool that will help you do just that.

What will your weekly intention be?

Megan Bireta is a wife, and mother of two active boys. Working out is "me" time. I love yoga, cooking, baking, eating healthy, spending time with family and friends and watching my boys play sports. I hope to help others get motivated and live healthier, happier lives!
